West indies squad announced for pakistan tour, many new faces get a chance in the squad

West Indies have announced their squad for the upcoming limited-overs series against Pakistan. The series will feature three ODIs and three T20I matches. The matches will be played at the National Stadium in Karachi from December 13 to 22. The three-match ODI series will be part of the ICC Men's ODI Super League. The West Indies are currently ranked eighth in the ICC Men's ODI Super League.

Some new faces have been added to the West Indies T20 squad for the tour of Pakistan. The West Indies have decided to rest Jason Holder due to work stress, while Evin Lewis, Shimron Heitmeyer, Andre Russell, and Lendl Simmons are not playing for personal reasons. Fabian Allen and Obed McCoy also did not get a chance to play due to injuries and rehabilitation. Cricket West Indies have said that Kieron Pollard will lead the team in the ODI and T20I series, while Shy Hope will be the vice-captain in the ODIs and Nicholas Puran will be the vice-captain in the T20s.
