Climate updates have changed in many countries of the world including India and floods are wreaking havoc somewhere and volcanoes are erupting somewhere. Premature rains in many states of India have made the situation worse. Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning and forecast that Jawad is likely to strengthen in 24 hours.
The storm will wreak havoc in these states
Due to low pressure in the Bay of Bengal, Javad casts a shadow over Andhra Pradesh and Odisha. Coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and West Bengal are likely to experience adverse weather due to Typhoon Jawad. The Met Office has warned of strong winds and rain in these states.
The cyclone will reach the Andhra Pradesh-Odisha coast
A cyclone is forming in the Bay of Bengal, which is likely to reach the coasts of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha by Saturday (December 4). After this it turns into Jawad storm. Fishermen living near the beaches were alerted and advised to reach safer areas.
These districts in West Bengal receive heavy rainfall
According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains are likely in East and West Midnapore districts of West Bengal on December 4 due to Jawad. Apart from this, heavy rains are also likely in the northern 24 parganas, southern 24 parganas, Jhargram and Howrah districts.
